Imao releases clamp for 5-axis MC

Imao, a manufacturer of machine components and jigs, released “Flex X”, a vise for 5-axis machining centers on November 29, 2021.

The Flex X is a clamp that can hold a workpiece stably even in high-load machining and simultaneous 5-axis machining. Both sides of the clamp’s mouthpiece deforms elastically to prevent the workpiece from being lifted during machining. The operator can easily adjust the position of the mouthpiece, allowing the Flex X to clamp a variety of workpiece sizes.

The Flex X maximizes the potential of 5-axis machines to increase user productivity.
