The AMADA SCHOOL, vocational training school for metalworking machinery operated by Amada, a leading sheet metal processing machine maker, selected sheet-metal works made with advanced skills and techniques to award at the 34th Precision Sheet Metal Technology Fair.
The award selection was based on a voting process that involved members from the Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity (JSTP), officials from the Japan Sheet Metal Industries Association, members of a judging committee, and a poll taken from the visitors at the Verification Plaza in the AMADA Solution Center. As a result, 50 out of the total 193 entries received recognition for excellence at the level of “technical award” or above.
The Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Award went to Shinba Iron Works for its Titanium exhaust system.
