YASDA’s best-selling machines, now in a new look

YASDA PRECISION TOOLS has redesigned its vertical machining center “YBM640V”. This update is the first major update in 28 years since its introduction in 1994.

A stainless steel slant cover has been added as standard equipment to prevent chips from entering the machine, improving both durability and chip discharge performance. The new model is equipped with an inverter-type hydraulic unit instead of the conventional hydraulic unit. Combined with the “eco-mode,” power consumption can be reduced by up to 6%. Axis travel (X x Y x Z) is 600 x 400 x 300 mm.

“YBM950V,” which can handle large workpieces with an axis travel of 900 x 500 x 350 mm, has also been updated.
