Manufacturing World Nagoya 2023, a specialized exhibition for the manufacturing industry, was held for three days from April 12 to 14 at Port Messe Nagoya in Nagoya City. 27,500 visitors attended the three-day event.
The exhibition consisted of nine specialized exhibitions, such as the “8th Mechanical Components & Materials Technology Expo (M-Tech) Nagoya”, where solutions to various issues facing the manufacturing industry, such as labor shortage, productivity improvement, digitalization, and environmental responsiveness, were gathered under one roof.
Mujin (Koto Ward, Tokyo; Issei Takino, CEO), a developer and distributor of intelligent robot controllers, exhibited a “QR grid type” automatic guided vehicle that runs by reading a QR code attached to the ground (=photo). The company proposed the automation of logistics operations in factories that previously relied on manual labor.
TMW (Inazawa City, Aichi; Hiroki Tatematsu, President), a leading Japanese die and mold manufacturer, exhibited at the event for the first time and promoted the Italian FCS System jig system, which it began selling in Japan in 2018, to visitors from the manufacturing industry in the Chubu region.
