On January 23, JTEKT received the highest leadership level “A” rating in the “Climate Change” category of research conducted by CDP, an international environmental non-governmental organization (NGO). Among JTEKT’s efforts to address climate change, the company’s use of renewable energy, including the installation of solar power generation facilities, and its efforts to reduce carbon emissions have been highly rated.
CDP is an international NGO that evaluates and discloses the environmental initiatives of more than 20,000 companies worldwide. The rating is based on an eight-point scale.
