From late March to mid-April, large-scale machine tool exhibitions took center stage in China, South Korea and Taiwan. Showcasing cutting-edge solutions for automation, digitalization, and energy efficiency, these events attracted considerable attention from industry enthusiasts.
In China, the 13th China CNC Machine Tool Fair (CCMT2024) made a successful return after six years and was held for five days from April 8 to 12 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). With the participation of more than 2,000 companies from 28 countries and regions, the exhibition covered an area of 200,000 square meters, occupied all 17 halls of the venue, and welcomed more than 200,000 visitors.
Meanwhile, in South Korea, the 20th Seoul International Manufacturing Technology Show (SIMTOS 2024) was held at KINTEX on the outskirts of Seoul from April 1 to 5. With a record-breaking 1,300 companies from 35 countries and regions and a total of 6,170 booths, this year’s show was the largest in the event’s history. Over the five days, around 101,000 visitors explored the latest innovations.
In Taiwan, the 8th Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TMTS2024) made its debut at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from March 27 to 31. Hosting TMTS for the first time in Taipei, the five-day event attracted about 68,000 visitors interested in exploring the latest offerings.
