BIG DAISHOWA has established a European headquarters in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The new entity began operations in July as a central hub for European logistics and sales operations.
The new headquarters building was constructed by relocating and expanding the company’s existing German subsidiary located nearby. Total investment amounted to approximately JPY 2.5 billion.
The facility has a total floor area of approximately 5,000 square meters and includes a showroom, warehouse, and office space. Previously, limited warehouse space meant that only a minimal product inventory could be maintained. The new warehouse increases inventory capacity to approximately five times the previous level in terms of inventory value.
Previously, the company’s Swiss subsidiary oversaw operations across Europe, but this role has now been transferred to the new German company. The move is intended to streamline logistics and strengthen sales operations within the European Union, enhancing product supply and customer support capabilities.
BIG DAISHOWA aims to expand sales to both local European manufacturers and Japanese-affiliated companies in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, and other European countries, with the goal of increasing European sales to 1.5 times the current level by 2030.
