RTJ2024 draws over 46,400 visitors
Robot Technology Japan (RTJ) 2024, a specialized exhibition for industrial robots and automation systems, was held from July 4 to 6 at the Aichi Sky Expo in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture. The event attracted over 46,405 visitors over the three days, exceeding the previous exhibition two years ago by about 10%. The venue was buzzing with excitement.
Exhibitors showcase practical automation solutions
RTJ 2024 featured 244 companies and organizations in 1,320 booths. This year’s exhibitors prominently displayed practical automation solutions, targeting visitors from the manufacturing sector in the Chubu region.
Fanuc, with one of the largest booths at the venue, displayed a wide range of applications, including robotic systems for cutting processes. Yaskawa Electric demonstrated a demo system simulating the assembly of electric vehicle batteries, proposing “autonomous and distributed manufacturing” where robots work independently.
