On July 12, FANUC announced that its U.S. subsidiary, FANUC America, has completed the construction of its new facility, “West Campus,” in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The site spans approximately 270,000 square meters and represents an investment of $110 million. This new facility is designed to provide customized automation systems to meet customer needs and includes a warehouse capable of rapidly supplying more than 6,000 robots and maintenance parts.
As part of its strategic investment to advance factory automation in the North American manufacturing sector, FANUC has previously established significant facilities in the region. In 2019, FANUC opened “North Campus” in Michigan, followed by new offices in Mexico and Canada in 2023. Including the new West Campus and the upcoming training center “FANUC Academy,” FANUC’s total investment in North America reaches $250 million.
