On July 5, 2018, Yasda Precision Tools held an open house event at its headquarters plant, with a special focus on the aircraft industry. The event attracted 233 visitors from 103 companies, including trading firms.
During the plant tour, visitors were able to view large horizontal 5-axis machining centers, including the YBM 10T-100 TT and the 8T-63 TT, both under assembly at the time.
Tokiho Moriya, Director of the Sales Department, commented, “Machining difficult-to-cut materials used in aircraft engines and underbody components demands high accuracy, machine rigidity, and long service life. We wanted visitors to experience our manufacturing capabilities—including hand scraping—that support these requirements.”
The event also included a technical seminar, where attendees actively took notes, showing strong engagement with the topics presented. The open house served as a platform for Yasda to demonstrate its solutions tailored to the precision requirements of the aerospace industry.
