ACCRETECH showcases multifunctional measuring instruments for process integration

March 24, 2026

Tokyo Seimitsu (operating under the brand ACCRETECH) held the “ACCRETECH Tokyo Seimitsu Private Show 2026” at its Osaka showroom, exhibiting the surface roughness and contour measuring instrument “Surfcom NEX” and the multi-sensor measuring machine “O-INSPECT” from Germany’s Carl Zeiss, among other products.

Process integration through multifunctional measurement

The Surfcom NEX allows users to replace or add detectors for surface roughness and contour measurement according to the workpiece, enabling both types of measurements to be consolidated into a single machine.

The O-INSPECT is equipped with three types of sensors—a contact sensor, a non-contact camera sensor, and a non-contact white light distance sensor—allowing flexible selection of measurement methods according to the workpiece material and measurement location.

Growing demand for multifunctional systems

“We’re hearing more requests for measuring instruments that can perform multiple roles in one machine, rather than having one machine for each measurement method,” said Eiichi Yonemori, Manager of the Osaka Sales Office, Domestic Sales Division 4.
