The world-leading company of EV’s critical component invests 1.8 billion yen

Odawara Engineering, the world-leading manufacturer of motor coils, decided to construct a new building at the headquarter in Kanagawa Prefecture on September 20, 2018.

The amount of investment will be about 1.8 billion yen.

Completion of the new building is scheduled for November 2019.

Odawara Engineering will take spread of hybrid vehicle and electric vehicle (EV) into account, and strengthen production of motor coil manufacturing systems to meet the growing demand for motors.

In addition, the company aims to improve productivity by introducing a fully automatic line to deal with the upsizing of product.
