Okuma announced on December 2019, that it had relocated its affiliated corporation in Indonesia to Chakun district of Jakarta and established a new showroom. The investment is about 80 million yen and the floor area is 420 square meters. In the country, where demand for machine tools for automobiles and agricultural machinery is strong, the company will focus on local sales activities and technical guidance. The showroom is equipped with a vertical machining center, a CNC lathe, and a multi-tasking machine, and also supports test cutting. Okuma aims to receive order of 800 million yen at annual in Indonesia by strengthening machining support and solution provision.
