Amada Holdings announced on January 23, 2020 that it has established Amada AI Innovation Laboratory at its headquarters in Isehara, Kanagawa Prefecture. Amada AI Innovation Laboratory was established with the aim of researching that anticipates medium- to long-term growth of the Amada group, and developing advanced technologies such as AI. The company researches automation technology to solve the labor shortage, succession of skills, and next-generation manufacturing with a view to cross-industry collaboration.
