Nissei Plastic Industry announced that the cumulative shipments of its injection molding machines surpassed 130,000 units as of August 31, 2017. The company manufactures these machines at two overseas plants—in China and Thailand—as well as at its headquarters plant in Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
Thanks to the smooth operation of all facilities, Nissei had reached 120,000 units by March 2014, and surpassed the 130,000-unit mark just three years and five months later. According to the company’s internal research, this figure is the highest cumulative shipment volume among Japanese injection molding machine manufacturers.
Mr. Hozumi Yoda, president of Nissei Plastic Industry, stated, “We celebrated our 70th anniversary in 2017. We were able to achieve cumulative shipments of 130,000 units thanks to the support of our customers.”
