JTEKT announced on February 27, 2020 that the manufacturing matching service business will be spun off. The company will eatablish JTEKT FA, a wholly owned subsidiary, on April 1, 2020, and will take over the business. JTEKT aims to increase the availability of IT engineers and other specialized human resources and accelerate development and business expansion by spinning off the company.
The manufacturing matching service business is a cloud service that supports manufacturing by matching customers who want to machine parts such as sheet metal with partner companies who want to undertake parts machining using JTEKT’s original networks and programs.
