Daido Steel starts operation of stainless steel plant

Daido Steel announced on April 6, 2020 that it has established a new Chita plant 2 that manufactures high-performance stainless steel and has started operation of some facilities. The investment amount is about 3 billion yen. The new plant will have a secondary processing line for high-performance stainless steel. The high-performance stainless steel bar peeling facility started operation this time and the monthly production capacity is 1,000 tons. In addition to this, new construction of heat treatment facilities and relocation and expansion of peeling facilities are planned in near future. Daido Steel aims to provide a stable supply of products with quality required for parts such as stainless steel for automobiles.
