Mitutoyo opens its largest measuring machines showroom in Utsunomiya City

Mitutoyo opened its largest showroom “M3 Solution Center UTSUNOMIYA” in Utsunomiya works in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture on June 1, 2020.

The showroom originally located in the Utsunomiya works was relocated to a new building for the purpose of strengthening the functions of the showroom and calibration business. The new building has a three-story with a total floor area of approximately 6,800 square meters.

Mitutoyo exhibited about 1050 exhibits such as large-type CMM in the showroom. The total price of the exhibits is about 600 million yen and about 300 million yen was invested in the interior of the showroom.

The showroom is also be used to solve customer issues through demonstrations of measurement. In addition, Mitutoyo will prepare tours of the three factories in Utsunomiya works so that visitors can learn about the manufacturing process of measuring equipment.
