Online exhibition goes niche to mainstream in Japan (1/3)

Japanese each FA builder held online exhibitions from January to February 2021. Each company not only introduced new products and technologies on its website, but they also held live webinars. The editorial department of SEISANZAI Japan will introduce the web exhibitions of Citizen Machinery, NSK, and Yaskawa Electric for three days from today. The first one is Citizen Machinery, an automatic lathe builder in Nagano Prefecture.

The new model of Cincom was announced

Citizen Machinery held the “ONLINE PRIVATE SHOW 2021” from February 3rd to 5th, 2021.

Citizen Machinery has set up a special website and introduced a hub for its technical bases “Global Solution Center” at the head office in Nagano Prefecture. The company also delivered webinars of new models and new technologies, as well as roundtable discussions with five tool makers.

The new product “L20 XI IB5” of the NC automatic lathe “Cincom” was unveiled. Cincom’s new model is equipped with the latest NC device. It was the first machine in the L20 series to enable simultaneous 5-axis machining. The L20 series is the flagship of automatic lathes equipped with a gang rotary turret. Citizen Machinery plans to launch this new product in June this year.
