Mitsubishi Materials, a cutting tool maker, has launched the “Alimaster series” of carbide end mills for machining aluminum alloys. The new end mill optimizes the shape of the coolant hole for internal refueling and the shape of the tool, enabling high-efficiency machining of aluminum alloys. The company has prepared 4 items of square type “A3SA” and 13 items of radius type “A3SARB”. The Alimaster series adopted a twisted coolant hole to improve chip evacuation when plunging, ramping, and grooving.
