On February 24, 2021, Makino Milling Machine, a leading machine tool builder, launched a new product “V100S” of a vertical 5-axis machining center.
V100S is effective for medium and large molds machining. The new product can machine workpieces up to about twice the size and about three times the weight of the conventional model “V90S”. The size of the table is 2000 mm width x 2500 mm depth. The workpiece size is 2000 mm width x 2500 mm depth x 1050 mm height. The maximum loading capacity is 15000 kg.
The V100S is equipped with a slant type spindle that enables smooth simultaneous 5-axis machining. The compact spindle enables high-precision machining for a long time and is highly productive.
