On April 16, 2021, NSK, a major machine components maker, released “ACOUS NAVI”, a condition monitoring and diagnostic application of machine components. The target components are bearings, ball screws, and linear guides.
ACOUS NAVI can monitor the operating status of these components and detect signs of damage or deterioration. The application for bearings and ball screws is compatible with FANUC’s “FIELD system”, open software platform for the manufacturing industry.
NSK aims to achieve 500 million yen in sales of ACOUS NAVI and related services by 2026.
