Mazak provides IoT WEB service version for free

Yamazaki Mazak, a leading machine tool builder, started to provide the function named “WEB service” of “Mazak iCONNECT” free of charge from April 20, 2021 in Japan.

Mazak iCONNECT is a comprehensive service that uses cloud network technology. Mazak started it in April 2019.

WEB service is a new support function of Mazak iCONNECT. Users can check the specifications of production equipment and operation manuals, order history of maintenance parts, etc. through the WEB service. Mazak provides WEB services free of charge to all users who own Mazak’s NC machines.

With the start of this WEB service, Mazak divided the service contents into two, a “WEB service” that allows operators to use Mazak iCONNECT for free, and the paid function named “M2M service”.
