Bearing maker NTN announced on July 29, 2021 that it has developed a bearing diagnostic application compatible with the industrial IoT platform “Edgecross”. NTN started to offer a free trial version of the application in July.
The application developed by NTN is software that collects the data of the vibration sensor mounted near the bearing and easily diagnoses the abnormality of the bearing. When used in combination with Edgecross, users can collect data in real time at the production site, and can maintain equipment and replace parts in a planned way.
