Minebea Mitsumi, a Japanese manufacturer of small diameter bearings and electronic components, announced on January 22, 2018, that the world’s smallest hand spinner, also known as a fidget spinner, containing its own small diameter bearing was certified as a Guinness World Record.
The size of the tiny spinner is 5.09 mm, and the record was approved on November 14, 2017. Bearings with an outer diameter of 1.5 mm mounted on the hand spinner were also certified by Guinness as the world’s smallest mass production ball bearing in August 2015.
