On November 24, 2021, THK, a manufacturer of machine components, began accepting orders for a robot hand that can grip workpieces of various shapes.
The new product has a mechanism that locks the 12 shafts by following the shape of the workpiece according to the unevenness of the workpiece. The robot hand can handle complex shapes with just one hand, eliminating the need to change hands for each workpiece. Users can reduce their initial costs and introduced it without high entry barrier, as they do not need to purchase special robot hands.
