Kitamura Machinery expands and relocates its U.S. affiliated company headquarters

Kitamura Machinery, a builder of machining centers, will expand and relocate the headquarters of its U.S. affiliated corporation, Kitamura Machinery of U.S.A., to a new building.

The new headquarter will be located in Mount Prospect, Illinois, and is easy access to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, which is about 13 kilometers away. The total area of the new building is about 14,000 square meters, about 3.5 times larger than the current building. The company decided to expand the working space due to the continued strong orders from North America. The new building will also have a showroom where open house can be held.

With the relocation, the company aims to strengthen its network of more than 30 distributors in the US and expand its business. The new building will begin operations in May 2022.
