[New year event #2] ND Marketing Award presented to Fanuc’s Dr. Inaba

On January 11, 2022, News Digest Publishing, the publisher of SEISANZAI Japan, held a New Year’s event at the Nagoya Congress Center in Atsuta-ku, Nagoya, attended by 519 people from the machine tool industry. The SEISANZAI Japan editorial team is reporting on the event over the next three days.

At the event, following the announcement of the forecast of machine tool orders, the presentation ceremony of the “37th ND Marketing Award” was held. The 37th ND Marketing Award was presented to Dr. Yoshiharu Inaba, chairman of Fanuc, who has integrated the three fields of “FA”, “ROBOT”, and “ROBOMACHINE” and their services as “One Fanuc”, and has contributed to the innovation of manufacturing sites around the world. Dr. Inaba was honored for this achievement.

Mr. Hachiro Higuchi, president of News Digest Publishing, presented Dr. Inaba with a letter of commendation, and Mr. Yuji Kitagawa, chairman and president of Kitagawa, a previous recipient of the award, presented him with a bronze statue. Dr. Inaba said, “I am deeply moved to receive this award on the 50th anniversary of our company. I would like to continue to contribute to the development of the Japanese machine tool industry and the global manufacturing industry”.
