Hitachi, a leading manufacturer of heavy electrical machinery, and Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems, a manufacturer of industrial equipment, will establish a new company by integrating their operations and resources related to robotic system integration (SI). The new company will be called Hitachi Automation, and will start operations on April 1, 2022.
With the establishment of the new company, Hitachi will take the opportunity to reinforce its robotic SI business for the manufacturing industry in Japan and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region.
