Brother Industries, a builder of machine tools, sewing machines and various office devices, has built a new warehouse in Minato-ku, Nagoya. The total construction cost is approximately 2 billion yen. The new warehouse is a two-story building with a total floor space of approximately 11,800 square meters.
The company built the new warehouse to meet the growing demand for storage of products and parts in line with the growth of its business in the industrial field. The new warehouse has the space to load and unload cargo according to the height of the truck bed. By locating the new warehouse close to the container yard at the Port of Nagoya and the entrance of the Nagoya Expressway, the company aims to reduce logistics costs and carbon emissions.
