NTN to start overseas sales of bearing abnormality detection devices

NTN, a major bearing builder, started overseas sales of portable bearing abnormality detection equipment. This equipment is capable of measuring vibration of machinery and equipment, as well as detecting abnormalities in bearings and estimating the location of damage. It is palm-sized and easy to carry. In April 2021, the company launched a remote diagnosis service for bearings in Japan using the abnormality detection system.

The company will expand the sales channels of the abnormality detection device to the Americas, Europe, and Asia, as well as develop the remote diagnosis service overseas to meet the growing needs for bearing maintenance around the world.
