Mitsui Seiki Kogyo proposes automation at open house

Machine tool builder Mitsui Seiki Kogyo held a three-day open house at its headquarters factory from March 9 to 11, 2022, by appointment only. The open house was held in two parts, in the morning and afternoon. The total number of visitors was 130. The company exhibited its “Precision Center PJ303X”, “J350G” high-precision jig grinding machine, and “GSH200A” precision screw grinding machine, and gave visitors detailed explanations of the machines’ features.

At the open house, the automation proposal utilizing in-line measurement attracted much attention from visitors. The company has been focusing on automation proposals for two years during the pandemic. President Kinichi Kato is enthusiastic, saying, “We hope to bring this to fruition in the near future”.
