Brother sets up new company in India

Brother Industries, a manufacturer of printers and small machining centers, has launched a new company, “BROTHER MACHINERY INDIA”, in Bengaluru, India, which started operations in May 2022.

The new company has responsibility for after-sales service and technical support for machine tools, as well as marketing for the Indian market. India has a population of over 1.3 billion and is expected to continue to grow in population and economy. Brother Industries established the new company as part of the efforts to reinforce services in order to expand sales of its “SPEEDIO series” of small machining centers to the Indian automotive industry.
