Nakamura-Tome Precision Industry has launched a new multitasking machine, “JX-200”. The concept of the new multitasking machine is “ATC-type multitasking machine that can produce high-quality products with stable accuracy regardless of the material”.

JX-200 is equipped with the short tool spindle, “NT Smart Cube”. The compact tool axis enables machining of a wider range of workpieces.

The combination of a tool spindle that swings from -95° to +95° and a turret with Y-axis reduces cycle time in simultaneous machining with the tool spindle and also allows center support with the turret. The machine can be used for a variety of machining operations, thereby expanding the range of applications available.

A new column structure has been adopted to achieve stable machining regardless of material. By placing the tool spindle column vertically, the center of gravity has been optimized, making it more resistant against loads applied from multiple directions. The machine can perform turning, drilling, gear machining, and milling operations in a single machine, contributing to process integration.

The spindle motor rotates at 12,000 rpm, and the floor size is 2925 × 5250 mm.
