Yaskawa Electric, a major Japanese builder that manufactures industrial robots, established a new plant for industrial robot in Slovenia.
Yaskawa Electric began to operate the factory in January 2019 and held the completion ceremony on April 8, 2019. The building area is 12,500 m2, and the production capacity is planned to be 500 units per month by 2021.
It will be the third manufacturing site after Japan and China. Yaskawa Electric will be able to quickly supply industrial robots to the Middle East and Africa in addition to Europe.
