FANUC announced on April 21 that it has completed the Central Technical Center (Central TC) at its headquarters in Oshino Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.
The Central TC is a showroom-style facility designed to showcase practical applications of its products through permanent and special exhibitions in Arena 1 and Arena 2. The Test Arena allows performance testing using actual machines, providing technical support beyond initial installation. The building is a three-story steel-framed structure with a total floor area of approximately 14,900 square meters.
The Central TC has earned ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) certification under BELS (Building-housing Energy-efficiency Labeling System), the highest rating in the four-level system. Equipped with solar power generation systems, the facility is designed to achieve net-zero energy consumption in air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, hot water supply, and elevators.
In addition, customer facilities have been integrated around the main building into a unified guest area, improving convenience for visitors. The guest area includes the main and office buildings, the Central TC, FANUC Academy, the System Build Center, completed in late May 2025, and the Inaba Memorial Hall, which consists of a main building and an annex.
