Honda Motor established Honda Mobility Solutions, which is responsible for the mobility services business in Japan on February 18, 2020. The capital is 100 million yen, and Honda is 100% owned. Honda Mobility Solutions develops the business to plan and run a mobility services business in Japan. Honda Mobility Solutions will provide new services that combine autonomous driving mobility services and robotics and energy. The company aims to improve the convenience of transportation by responding to vulnerable road users and solving social issues such as traffic jam and exhaust gas.
