Fujitsu announced on February 18, 2020 that it was granted Japan’s first private 5G radio station provisional license by the Kanto Bureau of Telecommunications. The company will establish a radio station that emits local 5G radio waves at its Shin-Kawasaki Technology Square office in Kawasaki, Japan.
The company will open a “FUJITSU Collaboration Lab” in Fujitsu Shin-Kawasaki Technology Square office to demonstrate use cases using private 5G with customers and partner companies in the spring of 2020.
