DMG MORI launched powder-bed additive manufacturing machine “LASERTEC 30 DUAL SLM” equipped with two high-power laser heads. Laser output is 600W, and the laser reaches the entire chamber area. The lasers achieve build rates of up to 90 cm³ per hour.
The new machine has increased productivity by 80% at the maximum by irradiating two lasers at the same time. In addition, the laser spot diameter is 50 to 300 µm, which also enables precise buildups. The filter system does not require replacement for more than 3000 hours and the machine can operate for a long time.
