Taguchi Industrial announced on July 17, 2020, that it will construct a new production plant in Daisen-cho, Tottori Prefecture. The facility will specialize in machining thick steel plates for hydraulic excavator attachments, particularly crushers. The investment amount was not disclosed.
The new plant will have a total floor area of approximately 9,000 square meters and is scheduled for completion in April 2021. It will be equipped with fusing machines dedicated to thick plate processing and machine tools for sheet metal fabrication.
By building this new facility, Taguchi Industrial aims to strengthen its production system, improve delivery lead times, and increase overall output. These efforts are intended to boost the company’s market share in the growing sector of hydraulic attachments.
Taguchi Industrial manufactures crushers designed to be mounted on construction machinery for breaking concrete structures. Demand for these products has been increasing due to ongoing building demolitions, infrastructure development, and applications in disaster recovery efforts.
