NT TOOL and ADVICS work together on development of a cleaning tool for MC

NT TOOL, a Japanese tool holder maker, announced on July 26, 2021 that it has developed a high-pressure cleaning tool “Boost Master” for machining centers（MC） in collaboration with a major automobile parts manufacturer, ADVICS.

Boost Master can be attached to the ATC of the MCs, and machining and cleaning can be integrated into one device. MC operators used to use high pressure washers or air guns to dispose workpiece’s chips after machining. Boost Master not only significantly reduces the workload of such chip control, but also saves energy by not using high pressure washer.

NT TOOL is in charge of manufacturing, sales, and maintenance services of Boost Master. They aim to sell 1000 units in the first year.
