Makino Milling Machine has added “Rapid Calibrator,” a calibration device for automatic workpiece measuring devices installed by machine tools, to its “SMART TOOL” series. The Rapid Calibrator is installed on the table, and calibration is performed simply by setting the reference tool in the center of the gauge pin and running a dedicated macro program. There will be no measurement errors due to operator skill. Anyone can perform calibration “easily,” “accurately,” and “safely,” thereby reducing the workload.
