The company also attracted a great deal of attention for its newly entering Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm(SCARA) robots.
FANUC sells a 2 models of SR-3iA with a transportable weight of 3 kg and SR-6iA with a transportable weight of 6 kg.
SR 6iA will begin shipping in April 2018, and SR 3iA will begin shipping in December, 2018.
A total of four robots were displayed at the venue: two work transfer robots and one robot for assembling electronic boards and picking up parts on a rotary conveyor.
“A robot can track and pick up parts with a combination of vision sensor and intelligent software” said the person in charge.
