Citizen Machinery establishes sales subsidiary in India, aiming to sell 400 units annually by 2030

Citizen Machinery announced on May 12 that it had established a sales subsidiary in Bengaluru, India. The subsidiary has capital of approximately 600 million Indian rupees (around USD 6.25 million).

Expanding sales in the Indian market is one of the company’s key strategies, and Citizen Machinery has steadily strengthened its sales and service capabilities in the country since 1985. The company has also set a long-term target of JPY 10 billion (approximately USD 62.66 million) in sales by 2030 and is building a sales structure capable of selling 400 units annually — roughly twice its current volume — to achieve that goal.
