Murata Machinery improved the Twin Spindle Turning Machine “MW120″ with the aim of improving the productivity of parts processing mainly in the automotive field.
High accuracy components were employed in the various parts.
Structural revisions strengthened rigidity and responsibility.
The two spindle structures are completely separate, and high feed on the one hand does not affect the other.
The new gantry loader is installed in the standard specification.
Carbon-fiber reinforced plastics were used as the material of the loader, and the weight was reduced by 41% compared with the conventional one.
The moving speeds of each of the three axes of X, Y, and Z became high speed by about 50%.
The chunk size is 6 inches and 8 inches.
