September 14, 2019

New HM6300 model offers enhanced rigidity, speed, and compact design

OKK is showcasing its high-rigidity machining technology at EMO Hannover 2019 under the theme “Built Rigid. Built Better.” The company is exhibiting at Hall 27, Stand B75.

Among the three machining centers on display, OKK is placing particular emphasis on the new HM6300 horizontal machining center. The model is an evolution of the existing HM630 and features key improvements in rigidity and speed, appealing to markets such as automotive, general machinery, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery.

Key specifications and features of HM6300

The HM6300 is designed with a short spindle-to-pallet-center distance of just 50 mm, which is among the shortest in its class. The machine offers XYZ-axis travel of 1050×900×1030 mm, and it supports pallet sizes of 630 mm (standard) or 800 mm (optional). The machine can handle workpieces up to φ1110×H1300 mm in size and weighing up to 1500 kg.

In addition to the HM6300, OKK is also exhibiting the VC-X500, a 5-axis machining center already well-known in the European market, and the VM53, a best-selling vertical machining center in Japan.

OKK’s presentation at EMO Hannover 2019 emphasizes its commitment to delivering high-performance machine tools optimized for speed, rigidity, and compactness.
