Yamaha Motor opens robotics business office in Thailand

Yamaha Motor announced on March 13, 2020 that it will open an office in Thailand to expand its robotics business in Southeast Asia. The office is located at the base of its affiliated corporation in Thailand that manufactures semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The demand for equipment is generating in Southeast Asia from a wide range of fields, including automobiles, industries, and semiconductor manufacturers. The company will strengthen its service and marketing system to meet this demand. The office will have a showroom where industrial robots, surface-mounter, and semiconductor manufacturing equipment will be installed. As a result, Yamaha Motor will be able to provide a total solution including semiconductor post-processing.
