On October 2nd, the founder of FANUC, Dr. Seiuemon Inaba, passed away from old age. He was 95 years old. He is well known as the leading engineer in Japan of the computer numerical control (CNC) system for machine tools. The company currently keeps the majority of CNC market globally. FANUC is also known as the world largest builder of industrial robot.
