March 31, 2021

NACHI-FUJIKOSHI, a maker of hydraulic equipment, bearings, cutting tools and robots has strengthened its lineup of compact robots. In March 2021, Nachi launched two models, the SCARA robot “EC06” and the vertical articulated robot “MZ12H”.

EC06 is a SCARA robot with a maximum payload of 6 kg. There are three types according to maximum reach lengths: 500mm, 600mm, and 700mm. The EC06 is lightweight, highly rigid, and capable of high-speed, high-precision operation. The robot maker proposes EC06 to the electrical and electronic markets. The annual sales goal for 2021 is 2000 units.

MZ12H is a vertical articulated robot with a maximum payload of 12 kg. The MZ12H inherits the characteristics of the conventional model “MZ12” and newly adopts a unique wrist structure. The hollow wrist makes it easy to route cables and pipes. Nachi proposes the MZ12H to the general industrial machinery market. The annual sales goal for 2021 is 3000 units.
