Rapyuta Robotics, a leading developer of collaborative pick-assist robots (Rapyuta PA-AMR) or warehouse robots, has established its U.S. subsidiary. This is the second overseas office for the company, following the one in India.
Rapyuta Robotics has been providing pick-assist robots to the Japanese logistics industry. The company intends to contribute to the U.S. logistics market by accelerating its sales activities and operations in the U.S., leveraging the experience it has gained in the Japanese market.
On January 25, an opening ceremony was held to celebrate the establishment of the new office. A demonstration of the operation of the order picking robot was given to about 30 participants, including those involved in the logistics business. In celebration of the establishment of the U.S. subsidiary, the company also unveiled a redesign of the interactive character on its Rapyuta PA-AMR.
Rapyuta Robotics, based in Japan, has been helping 3PL companies across the country improve their picking operations and maximizing efficiency in warehouses. Rapyuta Robotics holds the top market share of pick-assist robots. ※1
